BBE was founded and is managed by a mother-daughter dynamo that leaves no stone unturned in ensuring wedding-perfection for clients and their families.
I. Milkah Kaberi Chege
The Managing Director of Beautiful Beginnings is Milkah Chege. She has decades of experience in the hospitality industry, acting as General Manager of her restaurant. Her background in the service industry and culinary arts, means we bring increased attention to detail and innovative creativity to our work with clients as well as vendors.
Milkah holds a BA in Sociology: wedding consultants serve many roles beyond the normal, they are often part therapist and part mediator and Milkah's educational background in studying the human condition allows her to relate to her clients and often their families with an air of dignity, compassion and mutual respect.
More importantly, Milkah is a Certified Wedding Consultant and has successfully completed the Certificate program for Wedding Planners and Co-ordinators with Weddings Beautiful East and Central Africa who are affiliated with Weddings Beautiful Worldwide U.S.A. America’s #1 Certificate program for Wedding Planners and Co-coordinators. II. Sally C. Ndai
The Head Designer and Marketing Director at BBE is Sally Ndai, a San Francisco based design consultant who ensures that we incorporate a global and modern design aesthetic to all our events. Sally holds a BSc. in Neuroscience and is currently a PhD candidate in Neuroscience set to graduate in 2009. Though trained academically as a scientist, who has managed to rise to the ranks of science at the world's top Brain Reseach Insitute, Sally proves to our brides on a regular basis that she is a lady of many talents. Design and an eye for everything fashionable, glamorous and sophisticated have run through the veins of this multifacted 26 year old since she was a young girl.
She is responsible for all the designs you will see on our advertisements, in our wedding portfolio, and indeed on this website. Her training as a brain researcher gives her an element of precision and accuracy to detail otherwise reserved for military operatives :). Her location in California and her keen eye for beautiful objects ensures that our brides are offered the best of what the world has to offer right here in Nairobi.
